Why do people stop using "Merry Christmas" and use "Season's Greeting" instead but still using "Happy Chinese New Year"??? What about the indians?

What are you waiting for? Chinese new year?
Chinese new year had lost it's meaning in Malaysia over years. It used to be a proud festival for chinese for us keeping our tradition. Red packet had many wide spread origin, some said it was soldiers at war wrapped their own coins in red paper for blessing. In China, children who have started working will give red packets to their parents.
Somehow in Malaysia, we talk to strangers when it is chinese new year, usually at the roadside arguing who should pay for the repair from accident. It is an everlasting myth that why can't people hold up their raging hormones and just drive more carefully, for sake of a smooth-going new year? No? I think we really are one of the rudest country, when was the last time you talked to a stranger? Not even a good morning? 2 words that might make many people's day.
Fireworks and firecrackers are no longer legal, there goes our tradition, just because some malay kids have screwed up themselves and other people, they should instead ban anyone other than chinese playing with it! It would be reasonable because CHINESE invented explosives!
Visiting friend's family doesn't make me excited anymore, just seeing people's parents who I don't know, I'm not hard up for that angpau and I have my own parents, I prefer seeing them more, most of the time I think they look better than other parents. I don't see many relatives for me to visit too, father side relatives will be at father side grandpa house, mother side relatives will be at mother side grandpa house. That's all I have to do.
Gluttony is no longer something thrilling, being conscious of how hazardous those sinful cravings are from those articles on new paper. I would say, enough is enough:) Plus me not being a good-food-fan, I don't think reunion spread is something worth waiting, as the fleeting moment of taste just doesn't worth the trade-off.
Only thing precious about the festival, is time, with family (:

In fact there are more things than I can list out that sciences never manage to explain. In my opinion, sciences are just overrated, they failed to reasonably explain things, from as complicated as bran waves, to simple things like hiccups.
This reminds me of serendipity, the effect by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely(Wikipedia 2008). Doesn't this always happen and you get to meet someone truly belongs? For chances as small as creation of life form in the vast universe, it miraculously happens just anywhere.
We all live in a world so unexpected that we should restrain from using the word "never". When you think things are going all as you planned, shit happens... No matter how ungodly one's intuitions and logics are, they are still untrustworthy.

22-year-old appointed as Magistrate
GOMBAK: It was nothing short of a royal affair when the daughter of the Kelantan Sultan graduated with a degree in law at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) convocation.
ROYAL AFFAIR: Tengku Amalin walking off the stage after receiving her scroll from the Sultan of Pahang at the convocation ceremony at IIUM in Selangor yesterday.
Tengku Amalin A'ishah Putri Sultan Ismail Petra, 22, received her Bachelor of Law with honours in a ceremony witnessed by her proud parents, Sultan Tuanku Ismail Petra Sultan Yahya Petra and Raja Perempuan Tengku Anis Tengku Abdul Hamid.
Recently appointed a magistrate in Kota Baru, she is the first female to hold the position in Kelantan.
One of her cases involved that of businessman Datuk Nik Sapeai Nik Yusof charged with spraying a dangerous chemical at Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad when the latter visited Kelantan last month.
Pursued by the press, the media-shy princess declined to answer questions except to say that: “In time to come, I hope to be able to pursue my Masters in Law at IIUM, but for now I am dedicated to my job.”
Sultan of Pahang Sultan Ahmad Shah, the Constitutional Head of IIUM, advised graduates to adopt lifelong learning, as the knowledge they had acquired at university should only be regarded as an appetiser at the beginning of dinner.
Also in attendance were Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Fauziah Tengku Abdul Rashid and Higher Education Minister Datuk Mustapa Mohamed.
Two outstanding IIUM undergraduates were awarded scholarships to pursue their Masters at Harvard University.
Melati Abdul Hamid, who is pursuing her Masters in International Law, and Moroccan Iman Abi Sourour, who is pursuing her Masters in Medicine, were unable to attend the ceremony as they are now pursuing their studies there.

She existed
There's more evidence to support the theory that 'the Mona Lisa' was in fact Lisa Gherardini, the wife of a wealthy Florentine silk merchant.
Over the years, art historians have given Leonardo Da Vinci's famous portrait multiple identities, ranging from a relative of the artist to a prostitute.
But in 1550, about 44 years after the painting was completed, the 16th century painter and art historian Giorgio Vasari claimed the portrait was of Lisa Gherardini Del Giocondo.
And now, the discovery of a will and a grave lend support to Vasari's theory.
Historian Giuseppe Pallanti has spent years researching the woman behind the portrait and has written two books on the subject.
His research shows Lisa married Francesco del Giocondo in 1495, when she was 16 years old.
Pallanti found the church's archives, which state, "Monna Lisa di Francesco del Giocondo died on 15 July 1542 and was buried in Sant'Orsola".
And apparently the Mona Lisa was well-loved – the church records show the whole community showed up to say goodbye at her funeral.
