Midnight ramblings

Could not really understand why do people hold so tightly to beliefs. Truth and facts are what we can never avoid, you would lose sanity by avoiding that!

Why not accept whatsoever underneath your very nose and throw away fake faith? Carl Sagan (1997) has it, science is the candle in the dark in this demon-haunted world, not only eradicating poverty and increasing food supply but also discard untrue and biased thoughts...

I really believe, one day, people have to get smarter to understand how much have taken for countries to promote free thinking and it worthed every single effort! How hard it is to sit down and put aside religion, have a little brain-storm over a cup of tea, get to know this world better, hold on your religion yet keeping yourself in control. After all, you all know who are the ones who put no effort in things and hope everything turns out well by just praying. (Maybe they are telekinetic-able)

Like how I remembered in primary school, the teachers put all the glories of her students on her when they score well, on another hand cursing those who did not score well for the only reason they did not work hard. When you want to claim credit for something, you have to accept it as your responsibility, not a free lunch.

I only know, in this demon-haunted world, I would bravely hold onto the candle tightly, allowing it to illuminate what is ahead of me, identifying whatever lies in front of naked eyes, challenging and proving it. I would not just hold onto my pendant and hope everything turns out well and as happened in Bible... Sorry to say that but the recent tragedies have involved too many innocent human beings, they are just kids!!!

South Africa is infamous of their frequency of rape cases, for your information, just stare on your watch and every 20 seconds later there will be a rape case happening in South Africa. What disaster have happened to them? Nothing! God did not show up as he did in Bibles... did he? Sigh... Maybe accepting death is really the only way
